Canada has various programs where Foreign Nationals can apply for Work Permit. Some of the categories are as

Dependents of Foreign Workers or International Students
LMIA is not required for spouses or children of foreign workers who have a Canadian work permit or Study Permit to hold a skilled job. It does not apply to spouses of international exchange program workers.

For Spouses of International Student below documents are required

  • A copy of  student permit of Spouse in Canada
  • Letter of enrollment to a study program
  • A copy of your marriage certification in English or French. (see who can certify and translate)
  • Proof that you have enough available funds
  • A complete copy of your spouse’s passport that contains all pages that have stamps, visas, and other notes.
  • Documents to prove Legitimacy of Marriage Relationship
  • Work Documents of Foreign National

For Spouses of foreign Worker below documents are required

  • A copy of your Work Permit of Spouse in Canada
  • NOC 0/A/B Letter along with Minimum 3 Pay stubs
  • A copy of your marriage certification in English or French. (see who can certify and translate)
  • Proof that you have enough available funds
  • A complete copy of your spouse’s passport that contains all pages that have stamps, visas, and other notes.
  • Documents to prove Legitimacy of Marriage Relationship
  • Work Documents of Foreign National
